I have over 20 years of counseling experience, working with individuals of all ages, diverse backgrounds and various abilities. Having trained at the Center for Loss and Life Transition, I am dedicated to supporting grieving individuals. Other special interest areas include anxiety, self-regulation, school concerns, life changes, trauma, strengths, anger, self-esteem and parenting. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques and solution focused counseling.”
Kathie received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and a Nationally Certified Counselor. Additionally, she is a Certified Instructor of Youth Mental Health First Aid, a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and an Independent Facilitator of Love & Logic Parenting.
