Nancy Cannon, LCSW, LMHP, CEAP
Nancy has a masters degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and has been practicing for over 25 years. Her training in solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), cognitive behavioral (CBT), and family systems therapy was further developed by working as a certified Employee Assistance professional for much of her career. She has worked in private practice, in-home, healthcare, and corporate settings. She has also used her leadership skills serving as a past-president of the Heartland EAPA chapter and in management at a large corporation.
Using a strengths-based, goal-oriented approach Nancy gives clients hope and helps them find new ways to manage their stress and balance their lives while coping with issues such as anxiety, depression, anger, frustration, stress, and burnout. Specialty areas include helping clients work through life transitions and adjustments, grief/loss, divorce, parenting and step-parenting struggles, relationship/couples issues, work-related issues, and other personal crises. In addition to office visits she is also available through phone and telehealth video counseling.
